Creating Hope in Lusaka

There are so many children that live in the streets of Lusaka town. The Ministry of Social Welfare usually pick these children and place them in child care facilities like LIHOF. We accept such children that are brought by the Government who are usually aged between 7 to 21years.

We have between 5 to 15 boys aged below 21 years and they stay sometimes as little as a few nights, until we have found some relatives, and some stay for years. These children receive a holistic approach of care which borders on physical, emotional, spiritual and educational support while living in the child care facility (CCF) Psychosocial- child counselors provide the necessary counselling to the children at risk.
