Living Hope School in Kalindi village had a Christmas Party on the 24th December 2018. Activities done on this day were dancing and singing gospel songs. At the end they had their meal in the newly constructed Classroom block. Children where very happy to see the new classroom being used as their own way they can receive quality education and also for the purpose of the feeding program.

We wish to thank Anchor of Hope Charities for supporting us by proving a Borehole to our School of Kalindi village. The donation will go along way in providing clean and safe water to the pupils and the villagers. We now appeal to the well wishers to give us another Borehole to be placed in the 4 hectares school farm for watering the fruits, vegetables and other crops that will help to provide nutritious food to the learners.

LIHOF management and the Community members are extremely happy to see that the school building has a beautiful roof now, given that all along we were operating in a grass thatched structure, we want to sincerely thank Mr Sven from Sweden who contributed 2000 US dollars towards this roofing. We also want to thank Mrs Violet Saunders from within Zambia who contributed 2000 US Dollars, in total the roof project costed 4000 Us Dollars. Living hope foundation is taking education to the rural  kalindi village of Mumbwa district. The main goal is to significantly reduce the illiteracy levels in this community where schools are very far from this community. LIHOF in partnership with the local villagers,  have managed to build a one by two classroom block up to a roof level as shown above . The youth day cerebrations took place on the 10th of march 2017. The first quarter of this year saw an increment in the number of school pupils at the center compared to the previous years .This has however led to shortage of chairs and toys for primary school girls and boys and also shortage of desks for grades 1-7. in the case of baby class the school currently has only one mattress to carter for 14 pre-school children and this has proved to be a challenge especially that these children after lunch hour normally like to have some rest .
